Pet Friendly Diwali

Diwali ;light of colors and light .  Diwali is  the special celebration of the victory over evil and grace over greed and marked by lighting , crackers sweet and celebrations. It is the festival of animals. So, let’s create the  eco- friendly diwali environment for the all the pets. Dog dont understand diwali. Diwali is celebrated by bursting of crackers. The bursting of crackers cause fears confusion, anxiety and panic in the animals. Many cats/dogs get injured  due to crackers. Many unfortunate homeless creatures get totally  injured or die in the name of celebrations .Your sense of celebration should not become  another living beings misery .Mainly ,Strays are  in a very bad shape on diwali .They get burnt as people throw patokhas at them , they dont go out for food .  So lets go to the eco- friendly way; safe celebration for all. Rangoli powder can be poisoning for the dogs. 

As a solution ,Give and make them full secure and prevent them from the loud sound and noise. Give them company .Pet needs reassurance specially the little ones. 

If they are panicking and getting scared, hold them, calm them down. Play some kind of music in the room where the pet is kept to   calm and distract the animal. Keep your dogs indoors. You must make sure that your dog is hungry or not. Use shampoo to remove colored powder water of the noise which may cause dermatitis in dog. If the situation is severe, then consult the near veterinarians.

So this diwali let’s be more sensitive towards animals and have a pet friendly festivals. This diwali while you spend on yourself, your family and your friends generously, be equally compassionate to our four-legged baby. Say not to fire works. Love the pets.
