SAFE CELEBRATION

With a new hope and joy,

the festive season has arrived.

Happy faces and happy hearts,

flaunting in their new foreheads,

meeting one another's beloved ones,

and waiting their good health and success.

But we all get so engaged in our own world,

that taking lives of those innocent animals,

inhumanely and cruelty start becoming,

just an easy ritual for us.

In the name of GOD we sacrifice them,

for the taste of tongue, we slaughter them.

But they too have right to live!

and they don't deserve sufferings,

that we called humans need to contemplate.

for the sake of fun, we lit firecrackers,

But who cares about those

shivering, drooling, howling and barking little furries

Some of them looking corners to hide,

and some running aimlessly around in panic.

Now, its high time we realize,

GOD has made us supreme not to dominate,

but to supervise,

and to speak on the behalf of those,

who were never, neither heard nor valued.

Many things may have gone wrong this time,

but we would always find a way to cheer,

So, let us be grateful for what they offer,

Whether it be food or an honest company,

let us try to keep them safe and happy,

and take a small step to make the initiation,

for the safe celebration from this year.
